Amal Clooney
Amal Clooney, who was born Amal Alamuddin from Lebanon, is a Lebanese and British barrister, who has been an activist for human rights for many years. A graduate of Oxford University School of Law in addition to New York University School of Law is recognized internationally in her professional career and for her achievements in the international law of human rights. Her most famous clients include various nations, including Armenia which is trying to convince the Turkish government to recognize that there was an Armenian Genocide. Amal Clooney became engaged to and later married American actor George Clooney in 2014 instantly becoming a household name within the world of popular entertainment. Prior to this, she was well-known and loved in the legal world for consistently representing clients with skill and the success they have achieved. The job she has is to represent multinational firms during court hearings and discussions concerning government regulations as well as human rights and social justice. From 2015 onwards, Doughty Street Chambers is situated in London, and she has been a barrister.
